3. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers
SuperComp.AI uses artificial intelligence to power features such as Auto-Label, Smart Sort, Ask AI, and Reply Suggestions. To deliver these features, portions of your email content (such as subject lines, message body text, and sender information) may be processed by third-party AI service providers, including OpenAI.
We take the following precautions:
- Only the minimum necessary email data is sent to AI providers for processing
- We do not use your email data to train third-party AI models
- All data transmitted to AI providers is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Our agreements with AI providers include data processing and confidentiality obligations
You acknowledge that using AI-powered features involves sending email content to these providers. If you prefer not to use AI features, you may disable them from your account settings.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We may share your data only in the following limited situations:
- Service providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., Razorpay for payments, AWS for hosting, OpenAI for AI features, analytics platforms, email delivery tools), all bound by confidentiality agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, court order, or government authority
- Protection of rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of SuperComp.AI, our users, or the public
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, with prior notice to you
5. Data Security
We implement robust technical and organisational measures to protect your data:
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256)
- OAuth 2.0: Secure token-based authentication for Gmail and Outlook; we never access or store your email passwords
- Infrastructure: Hosted on AWS (Mumbai region) with VPC isolation, security groups, and automated backups
- Access control: Role-based access ensures only authorised personnel and team members can access specific data and features
- Monitoring: We use error tracking and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry) to detect and respond to security incidents
- Regular audits: Periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments of our systems
While we strive to protect your data using industry-standard practices, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data according to the following principles:
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after account closure for legal and compliance purposes
- Email data: Processed in real-time or near-real-time for AI features. We do not permanently store full email content. Cached or indexed data used for features like Ask AI is retained only as long as necessary for functionality and deleted upon account termination or access revocation
- Usage and analytics data: Retained in aggregated or anonymised form for product improvement
- Payment records: Retained as required by Indian tax and accounting regulations
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at feedback@supercomp.ai. Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Workspace Owner Account Deletion — Cascade Erasure
SuperComp.AI operates on a shared-workspace model, in which one account (the “workspace owner”) provisions and pays for a workspace that other members join. If the workspace owner deletes their SuperComp.AI account, this action cascades to and permanently erases the accounts and mailbox data of every other member of the workspace, along with any sub-users those members have created.
By joining a workspace as a member, admin, or sub-user, you acknowledge and consent to this cascade behaviour. Before the erasure runs, the workspace owner is shown an explicit warning naming the number of members and sub-users that will be affected. If you wish to preserve your data before a possible owner-triggered erasure, you can use the Export my data feature at any time while your account is active, or coordinate with the workspace owner in advance.
After a cascade erasure, encrypted backup copies of the erased data may persist for up to 30 days, consistent with the retention window described above in this section. The audit log retains a per-member record of the cascade (member ID, email, and role at the time of erasure) for compliance and dispute resolution, but does not retain member email content.

- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent: Opt out of marketing communications at any time
